The Public Prosecution in Abu Dhabi has opened an investigation into a British man suspected of money laundering.

The man was arrested in Abu Dhabi on an international warrant issued by French authorities.

Interpol also sent a letter to prosecutors in the emirate to investigate the suspect.

The UAE and France put an extradition agreement in place in 2007.
