While for many Instagram is just another extension of their social-media life online, for many photojournalists it’s a creative outlet, allowing artistic expression beyond the strict but critical editorial rules for news photography. One case is our own staff photographer Pawan Singh (@pawanwashere), whose two decades working as a photojournalist is actually born out of a fine-arts degree. Pawan is able to find the raw materials with his iPhone and use apps such as Instagram to create stunning images, such as this one from Mirdif City Centre.
