DUBAI // Parts of the emirate had rain on Monday evening with brief showers in isolated areas of the city.
The Dubai International Financial Centre area experienced a shower at about 8.30pm, but elsewhere in the city it remained dry.
Forecasters from the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology in Abu Dhabi said there may be a possibility of more scattered showers on Tuesday as cloud cover increases over coastal areas.
The authority also reported heavy rain over Al Shahama and light rain over Sharjah later in the evening.
There will also be moderate to strong winds that may kick up dust and reduce visibility.
