Paramedics saved the life of a boy, 3, after he fell into a swimming pool near his family’s home in Dubai’s Motor City.

The ambulance crew resuscitates the child, by performing CPR, after he had stopped breathing and transferred him to the nearby Saudi German Hospital, from which he was released two days later after making a full recovery.

A spokesperson for Dubai Ambulance Service said they had received an emergency call during Eid weekend and found the child unconscious when they arrived.

"The crew's efforts to rush to the scene of the accident has significantly contributed to saving the child's life," said Mohammad Al Kafli, the Ambulance Services Director.

“His parents have expressed extreme gratitude to the crew members and praised their efforts to give their child his life back with God's help."

Mr Al Kafli called on parents to monitor their children at all times when they are swimming.
