The Palladium Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame for Executing Strategy was created in 2000 by the founders of the Balanced Scorecard strategic planning approach, Robert Kaplan and David P Norton, and is designed to recognise organisations that successfully implement their approach. "The award is recognised worldwide as the gold standard of strategic performance management," according to a briefing released yesterday by the Government.

The inductees receive a crystal in the shape of a five-sided star, representing the five principles of strategic planning. Some of the selection criteria include: @Body-Bullets:? Implementing the Kaplan-Norton balanced scorecard strategy management system ? Achieving breakthrough results over a period of 24 months or longer. ? Exemplifying the principles of the strategy-focused organizations, such as mobilising change through executive leadership, translating the strategy into operational terms and aligning the organisation around its strategy.
