DUBAI// Two airport workers have appeared in court accused of stealing four bars of chocolate from a passenger’s bag.

Nepalis P S, 20, and L K, 24, who both work as loading workers at Dubai International, are charged with stealing the Kit Kat bars.

Prosecutors said on February 27 this year, the head of security at the airport saw the men loading luggage into an aircraft and spotted one of them opening a passenger’s bag.

“He took some candy from the bag,” testified Emirati K A, 31, who called police.

During investigations, P S confessed to taking the chocolate bars and hiding them in his pocket. He added that he ate one and gave the other three to L K.

The two men confessed at the Dubai Criminal Court court. A verdict will be issued on September 2.
