ABU DHABI // Motorists have been advised to avoid roads around Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Airport Road and Khaleej Al Arabi Street on Monday.
Roads on both directions around mosque, on the road connecting Airport Road and Khaleej Al Arabi Street will be partially closed from 9am to 1.30pm.
The temporary road closures were announced on November 26 by the Abu Dhabi Safety and Traffic Solutions Committee.
The committee, which comprises the Department of Transport, Abu Dhabi Police, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Department of Municipal Affairs and the Urban Planning Council, did not provide a reason for the road closures.
Road users are advised to drive cautiously and carefully, it said.
