25-year-old Emirati found dead in car

AL AIN // An Emirati man was found dead in a Porsche in the car park of Basra Park on Saturday evening, sources said yesterday.

The 25-year-old government employee had been dead for several days when he was found, the sources said. Police from several different departments, including Criminal Investigation officers, soon closed off the street.

An autopsy was carried out yesterday because the death seemed suspicious, according to sources. Al Ain police declined to comment on the case or discuss the man's cause of death, but said they would address the situation today.

The dead man worked in Al Ain, sources said. The National is withholding his identity until it is officially confirmed that his family has been notified.
