UAE weather: highs of 39°C as mini heatwave continues through weekend

Temperatures are expected to hit highs of 39°C on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, dropping to 27°C at night.

Dubai will be slightly cooler with highs reaching 37°C during the day, with Sharjah and Ajman experiencing the same.

Fujairah will be the coolest emirate, with an expected peak temperature of 28°C.

It will be partly cloudy and hazy at times across the emirates, with light to moderate winds that will blow dust.

Conditions in the Arabian Gulf will be calm to moderate and calm in the Sea of Oman.

Humidity will rise overnight, raising the risk of mist in the west.
