Maan Jalal

Maan is an Arts & Culture Reporter at The National. His work has featured in publications such as Khaleej Times and Arab News as well as in anthologies such as The Fish Anthology. Born in the UAE, Maan was raised between Dubai and New Zealand where he obtained a Masters of Creative Writing from the University of Auckland. A manic bibliophile, Maan is passionate about literature, art history, film, TV, social media and all facets of pop and celebrity culture.
