After an embarrassing Test series collapse, India continued picking up their fortunes on Tuesday as man of the match Rahane went for a knock of 106 and India clinched the ODI series 3-0.
If England looked the buoyant side in the five-day matches, India have been downright unassailable in the shorter format, with Tuesday’s nine-wicket victory in just 30.3 overs the latest positive sign for the side as the 2015 Cricket World Cup looms.
“It’s really special,” said Rahane, who made 106 in 100 balls. “It’s a great challenge to open. You have to prepare your mind and accept that challenge.”
