Tom Queally reports multiple Group 1 winner Twice Over to be firing on all cylinders ahead of his return to British racing in the JLT Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on May 14.
The six-year-old disappointed for the second successive year in last month's Dubai World Cup but Henry Cecil's horse is none the worse for those exertions.
"Twice Over is absolutely bouncing and the whole Dubai experience certainly hasn't left a mark," Queally said in his column on www.racinguk.com.
"He takes his racing so well and is one of the most consistent horses I've ever sat on.
"I think he's earmarked for the Lockinge, a race he was a good third in two years ago. He's probably best over 10 furlongs, but won't let us down over a mile, and then he'll try and go one better than 12 months ago in the Prince of Wales's Stakes."
