Two sets of rugby players were reunited in competition on Friday for the first time since the death of Nick Young, as they played a match in honour of their former teammate.
Young suffered a fatal injury during a match - made up of a combination of players from RAK Rugby and Arabian Knights - following a collision during the vets event at the Sharjah 10s on April 27.
The 43 year old was buried in Australia earlier in May and leaves behind a wife and two young children.
RAK Rugby ran out 58-14 winners at the inaugural Nick Young Memorial match.
A post on RAK Rugby's Facebook page said: "Game played in fantastic spirit and this will now become a regular annual fixture between our two clubs."
