Did you enjoy your time on the track?

aIt was really good as I already knew the track from last year's young drivers test, so I could go get straight into it and feel the car and try to improve the car. . We got some really good data.

Was it a good feeling to show your pace?

If I am going to get the race seat for next year I need to show that I can do this. Hopefully, I showed that I can be on the pace and there is more to come.

As a reserve driver can you gain experience despite the lack of race action?

When I am watching the race in the garage, with the headset on, I can get a picture of the strategy, so I try to learn why they do some things. I try to learn so if I get a race seat some day I know maybe a bit more than other drivers because I have seen everything from the outside first.

How competitive might Williams be at Yas Marina?

I think we are looking really good. Our race pace seemed really strong so I think we have a good chance to get both cars in the points and have a good weekend.

What is the latest on your chances of getting a race seat at Williams for 2013?

I am just waiting to hear, really. I think even the team haven't decided when they will decide, so we will have to wait and see.
