Jorge Lorenzo came out on top in his scrap with fellow Spaniard Dani Pedrosa to claim a thrilling victory at the Gran Premio de Espana MotoGP event in Jerez. Lorenzo, a Fiat Yamaha rider, passed Pedrosa's Repsol Honda on the final lap to come home 0.543 seconds ahead of his rival, with his teammate Valentino Rossi in third.
