VALENCIA, SPAIN // Jorge Lorenzo ended his MotoGP title-winning season on a high as he picked up a ninth win of the year in Valencia.

The Spaniard, who won his first title last month, saw off Australia’s Casey Stoner and Yamaha teammate Valentino Rossi, taking the win from Stoner by 4.576 seconds.

“Coming here to Valencia, I really wanted to win one more time in this fantastic season, in front of my home fans,” Lorenzo said.
