Blue Bunting, Godolphin's dual Classic-winning filly, has been retired to stud due to injury.
The four-year-old was being prepared for a run in the US$5million Dubai Sheema Classic (Dh 18.365m) but suffered a leg injury.
Although the injury was not career-threatening the period of recuperation was considered to be too long and Blue Bunting will be bred with Street Cry, Darley's 2002 Dubai World Cup winner.
Blue Bunting won the English 1000 Guineas in May before picking up the Irish Oaks over an extra 800 metres. She then proved her class with a game win over older fillies when winning the Yorkshire Oaks and finished her career with a sixth-placed finish in the St Leger.
