Three players have been withdrawn from this week's Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic after testing positive for Covid-19, the Ladies European Tour has confirmed.

The players - Annabel Dimmock, Catriona Matthew and Ursula Wikstrom - are not showing any symptoms, the LET said, and will self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days in accordance with the mandatory Health Authority and medical professional guidelines.

The LET said it has implemented a strict Covid-19 testing process throughout the season and all players taking part in the Moonlight Classic were tested upon arriving in Dubai on Monday morning.

The three-day tournament runs from Wednesday at the Faldo Course, Emirates Golf Club with former world No 1 and two-time major champion Lydia Ko, world No 9 Minjee Lee and Georgia Hall, the 2018 Women’s British Open champion among the field.
