Grace and Levin secure remaining US Open exemptions

Pair secure entrance to Olympic Club after climbing into world's top 60 rankings.

American golfer Spencer Levin and South African Branden Grace have claimed the final exempt spots for this week's US Open.

Grace, a three-time winner on the European Tour this season, and Levin join the likes of Ernie Els in earning full exemptions for the tournament.

The pair made it by climbing into the world's top 60, but the fact they were the only two means three players who just missed out on qualifying have also been called into the field.

They are Americans Justin Hicks, Kyle Thompson and Colt Knost - whose victory in the 2007 US Amateur came at the Olympic Club in San Francisco where the year's second major takes place.
