Ali Saleh is the fast-rising star of UAE football having just enjoyed a breakout season with Dubai club Al Wasl.

Aged 19, the forward was voted the 2018/19 Arabian Gulf League Golden Boy, the award given to the division's best young player. Half-Emirati, half-scottish, Saleh will next month join up with the UAE national senior team for the first time.
