TOTTENHAM RATINGS: Hugo Lloris - 6. While Leeds had their chances, particularly in the first half, the Tottenham goalkeeper was never really tested as he kept a clean sheet. AFP

Matt Doherty - 6. Started his first home league game since November 1 and was defensively sound. Was given his marching orders at the death after picking up two yellow cards, the first of which was an air shot. Reuters

Toby Alderweireld - 8. Snuffed out threatening attacks and headed home his first goal since scoring the winner against Arsenal at the tail-end of last season. Reuters

Eric Dier - 7. Throws himself into every challenge and read the game well to break up some promising Leeds moves. Reuters

Ben Davies - 7. With Sergio Reguilon relegated to the bench following his New Year's Eve indiscretion, the experienced Welshman provided excellent cover to nullify Raphina's threat. AFP

Harry Winks - 7. Lacks Sissoko's physicality but more than makes up for it with his quality on the ball. AFP

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 9. His interceptions led to two Spurs goals and he constantly positioned himself to detonate Leeds before they could really threaten. Reuters

Steven Bergwijn - 6. Has taken some stick from his own fans recently but won the penalty for Kane to open the scoring. Presented with a glorious chance to score before half time but his effort nearly cleared the stadium. AFP

Tanguy Ndombele - 8. Keeps the ball so well and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet with the Leeds defence caught napping. Reuters

Son Heung-min - 8. A trademark goal - his 100th for the club - and an assist for Alderweireld. The South Korean is arguably the league's most formidable attacking player this season. Reuters

Harry Kane - 8. The full package: flicks, tricks, passes, link-up play and a goal to boot, making Leeds the 30th Premier League team the Tottenham striker has scored against. EPA

LEEDS RATINGS: Illan Meslier - 3. Played his team into trouble that led to the first goal, spilled a shot for the corner and then Alderweireld's header for Spurs' third. As a last line of defence in a team that loves to attack, the Frenchman doesn't inspire confidence. AFP

Stuart Dallas - 6. The Northern Irishman's talent would be wasted in a conventional back four but in this Leeds team he is encouraged to play as high up the pitch as possible. Wasn't alert enough to track Son's run for Spurs' second. AFP

Pascal Struijk - 5. Didn't know whether to drop off or stick tight with Kane. Was exploited time and again. AFP

Luke Ayling - 6. Looked to bomb on from centre-back with the game fairly open in the first half but his defensive frailties were exposed once Spurs got their noses in front. AFP

Ezgjan Alioski - 6. It says much for Leeds' attacking spirit that their left-back wears the No 10 shirt. Made some brilliant runs to support his attackers but won't be too pleased with his goalkeeper for a poor pass that resulted in him bundling over Bergwijn for a penalty. EPA

Kalvin Phillips - 7. Calm under pressure and intelligent distribution with the ball. EPA

Raphinha - 7. The Brazilian loves to run at defenders. Created a chance for himself in the second half but shot was tame. Reuters

Mateusz Klich - 6. Looked to unlock the Spurs defence with some clever passing. Should have done better with a first-half opportunity but cleared Lloris' goal by a distance. AFP

Rodrigo - 6. The Spaniard had been asked to play a more withdrawn role in midfield but offered little as an attacking threat. AFP

Jack Harrison - 6. Had few opportunities to run at the Spurs defence before being replaced on the hour. AFP

Patrick Bamford - 5. Looked like he would cause the Spurs defence problems with the game fairly open in the first half but faded horribly in the second. Reuters

Son Heung-min scored his 100th goal for Tottenham Hotspur as they returned to winning ways with a 3-0 defeat of Leeds United to climb back into the Premier League's top four.

The South Korean doubled Tottenham's tally just before the interval after strike partner Harry Kane's penalty had given the hosts the lead.

Toby Alderweireld's header made it 3-0 in the 50th minute.

Tottenham, who topped the table in December, had gone four league games without a win, but a comfortable victory over Leeds sent them into third spot with 29 points from 16 games.

The only blemish was having defender Matt Doherty dismissed in stoppage time for a second yellow card after a late challenge on Pablo Hernandez.
