Premier League action comes thick and fast in this most challenging of festive periods and will likely see some significant moves at the top and the bottom.

Liverpool are already out in front and the champions will be very hard to stop now they have the momentum.

Manchester United are one side who are still within range of the leaders, and they kick off the action in the early game on Saturday at Leicester City, having won all their away matches in the league so far.

Aston Villa host Crystal Palace and Southampton go to Fulham before three evening fixtures see troubled Arsenal against Chelsea, Newcastle at Manchester City and Sheffield United against Everton.

Sunday's line up starts with Leeds v Burnley, then it's West Ham at home to Brighton, Liverpool hosting West Bromwich Albion and finally Tottenham travel to Wolves.
