In pictures: where it all went wrong in season of woe for Spurs

When an irate Eric Dier clambered over rows of seats at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday night to confront a home supporter, it pretty much summed up what has been a miserable season for the London club.

Spurs had just been beaten by Premier League bottom club Norwich City on penalties in the FA Cup fifth round with manager Jose Mourinho suggesting that Dier had reacted to insults towards a family member at full-time.

Tottenham currently sit seventh in the table, just  outside a Champions League spot, but Mourinho admitted recently he would “love it to be July 1” and the season over.

We take a look back on a campaign from last season's Champions League runners-up filled with embarrassing cup exits, managers being sacked, catastrophic injury blows and now, players kicking-off with their own supporters.
