England are heading home from the World Cup after they were beaten 2-1 by Croatia at the Luzhniki Stadium in Russia.

Kieran Trippier gave England an early lead with a superb free-kick but Croatia gradually fought back and Ivan Perisic equalised in the second half to take the tie to extra time.

Mario Mandzukic then nipped in set up a final against France on Sunday.
