Eden Hazard's first game in Real Madrid colours ended in defeat on Saturday.

The La Liga side were beaten 3-1 by Bayern Munich in Houston, despite the Bundesliga champions finishing the match with 10 men after goalkeeper Sven Ulreich was sent off.

Corentin Tolisso, Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabr were all on the scoresheet for Bayern, with Rodrygo getting the Real consolation.

The only setback for Bayern was Ulreich's dismissal with nine minutes to go after he had felled Rodrygo outside the box.

It was a new-look Real, with Hazard not the only new face as Rodrygo, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy also made their club debuts for Zinedine Zidane's side.

Hazard had a low-key start, despite his best efforts the Belgian being unable to make an impact on the friendly, which is part of the International Champions Cup series.

Hazard joined Madrid in June from Chelsea.

Madrid are next in action on Tuesday when they go up against Arsenal in Washington.
