Chelsea beat Manchester United, Arsenal defeated and Fulham win again: Premier League predictions

A look ahead to this weekend's 36th round of games in the Premier League with plenty still at stake

  Liverpool 5 Huddersfield Town 0, Friday, 11pm UAE time. Liverpool must win to keep the pressure on Manchester City.   Tottenham Hotspur 2 West Ham United 0, Saturday, 3.30pm. Tottenham will have one eye on the Uefa Champions League but Mauricio Pochettino, pictured, should still have the strength of resources to maintain his side’s 100 per cent record at their new stadium. EPA

  Fulham 2 Cardiff City 1, Saturday, 6pm. This is must win for Cardiff if they are to beat the drop. But with the pressure off, having already been consigned to relegation, Fulham are playing some good stuff and with Aleksandar Mitrovic, pictured, in good form they can win again to make it three in a row.   Watford 1 Wolverhampton Wanderers 1, Saturday, 6pm. Three weeks ago Watford came from two down to beat Wolves 3-2 in the FA Cup semi-final.   Leicester City 2 Arsenal 1, Sunday, 3pm. Arsenal’s away form has been poor for much of the season. Given Leicester’s improvement under Brendan Rodgers and the goals of Jamie Vardy, pictured, this could be another loss on the road for Unai Emery. Getty

  Burnley 0 Manchester City 2, Sunday, 5.05pm. Turf Moor can be a tough away day for sides, City did not win there in the league last season as they were held to a draw. But Pep Guardiola, pictured, is on a roll and his side can take a step closer to retaining the Premier League here. Reuters

  Manchester United 1 Chelsea 2, Sunday, 7.30pm. Two months can be a long time in football. In February it was United who won at Chelsea to knock them out of the FA Cup. But Chelsea now have the momentum and with Eden Hazard, pictured, in great form they can avenge that loss here to boost their top-four hopes. Reuters

Three weeks remaining of the Premier League and we still do not know who will be champions, who will fill out the final two spots in the top four, and who will join Fulham and Huddersfield Town in being relegated to the Championship for 2019/20.

Some of those scenarios should become clearer this weekend.

The action starts on Friday at 11pm UAE time as Liverpool can regain top spot, at least for 48 hours, if they beat Huddersfield at Anfield.

Saturday's schedule starts with Tottenham Hotspur knowing a win over West Ham United at 3.30pm could be enough, if other results go their way, to seal a top-four finish.

There are four 6pm games, with 18th-placed Cardiff's must-win game at Fulham the standout, before at 8.30pm it is Brighton and Hove Albion at home to Newcastle United.

Sunday begins with Leicester City v Arsenal at 3pm, before champions Manchester City, depending on what Liverpool do on Friday, can go back top, or extend their lead, with three points at Burnley at 5.05pm.

Then the action concludes with Manchester United v Chelsea at 7.30pm.
