Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to have his task cut out as his team return from the international break looking to reduce the pressure that had built up at the start of the season.

United find themselves 14 on the table and face West Brom that are further down in 18th position. Solskjaer's team did have something to smile about before the break with a 3-1 win over Everton, but the issues persist following three wins and as many defeats.

United trained over the weekend and will have to wait for the results of late fitness tests for some of their players as they target their first home league win of the season.

Bruno Fernandes was in fine form against Everton with two goals and an assist and only played 117 minutes of a possible 270 for Portugal on international duty.

The Portuguese playmaker is again expected to lead the charge against West Brom. However, Anthony Martial could be unavailable due to a back problem.

Edinson Cavani is also doubtful after he missed training on Thursday.
