SEVILLA: Bono – 9. Goalkeepers often don’t get the credit they deserve. Bono will after this performance. Pulled off a string of outstanding saves, including early from Rashford, despite it being part of the move that led to the penalty. Then a series of stops on Martial in the second half. Kept Sevilla in the game during spells of United pressure before his teammates did their part at the other end of the pitch. Getty Images

Jesus Navas – 7. Once a nippy winger for Manchester City, Navas has become more of a right-back during the latter stages of his career at Sevilla. Looked composed defensively before his superb cross found De Jong for Sevilla’s winner. AP

Jules Koundé – 7. The more composed of Sevilla’s central defenders, the 21-year-old continued to show why he’s one of the most highly-rated youngsters in Europe. EPA

Diego Carlos – 6. Endured an uncomfortable night after bringing down Rashford for United’s penalty and getting booked for a foul on Martial, but the Brazilian dug in and stayed committed to the cause. EPA

Sergio Reguilón – 8. Real Madrid’s on-loan left-back has been getting the transfer rumour treatment in recent weeks. After this performance, it’s little wonder why. Delivered a wonderful cross for Suso’s equalising goal in a fine all-round display. AFP

Ever Banega – 7. Didn’t dominate the midfield quite like he did in the quarter-final against Wolves but still provided his assured presence. Robbed on the edge of his own area and was lucky it didn’t prove costly. EPA

Fernando – 7. Never really made his mark at Manchester City but certainly played his part in this game. Broke up attacks, stuck in tackles, a solid game. Reuters

Sevilla defeated Manchester United 2-1 in Cologne on Sunday to reach the Europa League final.

Bruno Fernandes' ninth minute penalty gave United the lead before Suso levelled for Sevilla and substitute Luuk De Jong struck the winner 12 minutes from time.

United were left to rue a couple of defensive errors and wasteful shots on goal, while Sevilla goalkeeper Bono earned man of the match plaudits for a string of excellent saves.

Sevilla now await the winner of Monday's semi-final between Inter Milan and Shakhtar Donetsk while United head off on their holidays before a quick turnaround for pre-season.
