The Brazil national football team will be heading to the UAE next month to play South Korea in an international friendly, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) have announced.

Prior to facing South Korea at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on November 19, five-time world champions Brazil will play fierce rivals Argentina in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 15.

Brazil's match in the UAE capital will be their final fixture of the year.

"The last two commitments of the Brazilian national team in 2019 are defined. In November, Brazil will face Argentina on the 15th and South Korea on the 19th," CBF said in a statement on their website.

"The South American classic will be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The stage of the match will be King Saud University Stadium, the same place where Brazil defeated the Saudi team in 2018. Gabriel Jesus and Alex Sandro scored the goals on that occasion in a 2-0 victory."

Brazil's game against South Korea will mark the first time they have played an international fixture in the UAE since October 2010, when they defeated Iran 3-0 at Zayed Sports City.

Since then, the Selecao have won the 2013 Confederations Cup and the 2019 Copa America and reached the semi-finals of 2014 World Cup on home soil.

Among the star names in the Brazil squad that could feature in the UAE include Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar, on-loan Bayern Munich midfielder Philippe Coutinho, and Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus.

However, Neymar suffered an injury scare on Sunday evening when he pulled up with a hamstring injury after just 12 minutes of the 1-1 draw with Nigeria in Singapore.
