Real Madrid arrived in Jeddah on Monday ahead of their participation in the Spanish Super Cup.
Head coach Xabi Alonso and star players including Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo and Gonzalo Garcia were serenaded by Saudi musicians and handed bouquets of flowers as they walked through arrivals at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
The Spanish giants take on city rivals Atletico Madrid in the second semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup on Thursday. La Liga champions Barcelona face Athletic Club in Wednesday's first semi-final at the Alinma Stadium in the Red Sea city.
Tickets for Sunday's final have already sold out, with only a handful of premium tickets remaining, organisers said.
Real have won the Spanish Super Cup three times since the competition moved to a four-club format, lifting the trophy in 2020, 2022, and 2024.
The 15-time European Cup winners were humbled in last year's final 5-2 by Barcelona.
Real trail Barcelona by four points at the top of La Liga after 19 matches.
