Carlos Tenorio has described scoring five goals in a game as "normal" following his amazing display against Al Dhafra on Saturday. Al Nasr's Ecuadorian striker put in the sensational display in his team's 6-4 victory, but the performance paled in comparision to one he produced for Qatari side Al Sadd - when he scored 10 times in a cup game in 2006. Tenorio said: "Scoring five goals is normal for me. I have scored five in Saudi Arabia and 10 in Qatar.
"The important thing for me is that the team won and the fans are happy." The win was Nasr's first in three games and saw Tenorio increase his goal tally to nine for the season. He added: "This win is really important for the club." Meanwhile, the Al Wahda coach Josef Hickersberger is savouring the prospect of his team closing in on the Pro League leaders Al Jazira with a home victory over Sharjah tonight, KO 8pm, after their Abu Dhabi rivals were held to a 1-1 result by Ajman on Saturday. Hickersberger said a win would leave his side just two points behind the leaders "which would be a great position to be at this stage of the competition."
