The inaugural Formula One Miami Grand Prix took place this past weekend and celebrities turned out in their droves to watch the race and mingle with drivers.
With the race being hosted in a city known for its glitz and glamour, it was only fitting that the Miami International Autodrome was packed with famous faces, including former footballer and Inter Miami owner David Beckham, American football superstar Tom Brady, former US First Lady Michelle Obama, and many more actors, musicians, models, and social media personalities.
The celebrities in attendance, plus the thousands of fans who packed the stands, were treated to an entertaining race which saw reigning world champion Max Verstappen steer his Red Bull to victory. Verstappen needed to hold off a late onslaught from Charles Leclerc, who finished second, with his Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz completing the podium.
Red Bull's Sergio Perez finished fourth followed by Mercedes pair George Russell and Lewis Hamilton in fifth and sixth respectively.
After reliability issues at the season-opener in Bahrain and last time out in Australia, the win was a welcome return to the podium for Verstappen, who closed the gap on championship leader Leclerc to 19 points. In the Constructors' Championship, Ferrari lead Red Bull by six points.
