SHANGHAI // Cristiane scored twice to lead Brazil to a 4-1 win over Germany to reach the Olympic women's football final for the second time in a row. Birgit Prinz had given World Champions Germany a 10th-minute lead but the Brazilians hit back with goals from Cristiane, Formiga and Marta. Germany pride themselves on a mean defence and had not conceded in 10 previous games in major championships, which makes Brazil's accomplishment even more impressive. Brazil will face either defending champions USA or Japan, who meet later today in Thursday's final. Brazil lost to the Americans in the final in Athens four years ago.
