What: There will be three matches on Day 2 of the second season of the T10 League.

When: Thursday, November 22

Where: Sharjah Cricket Stadium

Who: Six teams compete in three matches

Bengal Tigers v Northern Warriors, 3.30pm

Stephen Fleming, the coach of the reigning Indian Premier League champions Chennai Super Kings, will get his first experience of a 10-over league game when he oversees Bengal Tigers' opener against the new team, Northern Warriors.

Fleming spoke earlier this week of his excitement over the challenges his new role will throw up – as well as the work hours.

Jason Roy and Sam Billings, who have been in action for England Lions against Pakistan A in Abu Dhabi, will lead the Bengal side's effort with the bat, while Morne Morkel and Mujeeb Ur Rahman lead a strong bowling group.

Darren Sammy’s Northern Warriors will have a distinctly West Indian accent, with the Rovman Powell, Dwayne Smith and Nicolas Pooran in their ranks.

Sindhis v Kerala Knights, 5.45pm

Defending champions Kerala returned to business as usual on the opening night as they breezed to an eight-wicket win over Pakhtoons.

Predictably, Chris Gayle and Paul Stirling formed a formidable opening partnership. They will form an imposing opposition for a Sindhis bowling attack still reeling from an opening-game savaging at the hands of Mohammed Shahzad.

Sindhis lost their first match by 10 wickets, and with a remarkable six overs to spare. Among their batsmen, only Shane Watson, the captain, managed double figures.

Maratha Arabians v Punjabi Legends, 8pm

Sandeep Lamichhane, the Nepal leg-spinner, showed in taking three wickets for Kerala on opening night that leg-spin can have as important a role in 10-over games as it does in T20.

That means there is every reason to expect Rashid Khan can be a similar force as he is in the 20-over format when he debuts for Maratha Arabians.

Few sides have had as much time together as the Maratha side, who will open up against the losing finalists last year.

Luke Ronchi was their star turn last time around, and the Punjabi Legends side will be hoping he can get back into the old routine straight from the off this time, too.
