Saturday’s Arabian Gulf League programme has been postponed following the death of Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The Pro League Committee confirmed the news on their official Twitter account, meaning the three scheduled matches will now take place on Monday.
Al Ain’s home match against Sharjah, Al Shabab’s clash with Dibba Al Fujairah and the Dubai derby between Al Nasr and Al Wasl join Al Ahli’s home tie against Al Dhafra on Monday’s revised programme.
Sheikh Rashid, son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, died on Saturday morningd of a heart attack.
