The latest transfer deals from around Europe on the final day before the closure of the January transfer window:
Holtby clinches loan move to Fulham
Fulham have signed the German international midfielder Lewis Holtby on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season.
Holtby, 23, who has a German mother and English father and has played three times for Germany, joined Tottenham from Schalke in the January transfer window a year ago but has been unable to establish a regular place in the first-team.
A Fulham spokesman said that he had trained with his new club on Friday and would be staying until the end of the season.
The club have also moved to replace Dimitar Berbatov by completing the signing of Greece striker Kostas Mitroglou.
Berbatov has been allowed to travel to Monaco for a medical ahead of a potential loan move to the Ligue 1 side.
Fulham have replaced him with the highly-rated Mitroglou, who has arrived from Olympiakos for an undisclosed fee
Fulham also confirmed that their Northern Ireland international defender Aaron Hughes has joined Championship club Queens Park Rangers on loan.

Zaha leaves Old Trafford for Cardiff
Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has joined English Premier League strugglers Cardiff City on loan until the end of the season.
Zaha, 21, joined United from Crystal Palace for £15m (Dh90.6m) last January but he stayed with the London club until the end of the season when they won promotion to the Premier League.
“He has pace, power, technical ability and goes past people,” Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, himself a former United player, told reporters.
Zaha becomes Solskjaer’s sixth signing this month, joining Fabio, Kenwyne Jones, Magnus Wolff Eikrem, Mats Moller Daehli and Jo Inge Berget at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Meanwhile, United's manager David Moyes told reporters not to expect any new arrivals at Old Trafford today, following the signing of Juan Mata last week
Bad boy Osvaldo clinches Juve move
Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo signed for Juventus after successfully completing a medical with the Serie A giants.
Osvaldo, who quit Roma last summer to sign for Southampton in a four-year deal worth a reported €15.8m, joined the Italian champions on a free loan deal until the end of the season.
The deal with Southampton allows Juve the option to buy the player outright for €19m, payable over three years.
Osvaldo’s return to Serie A has come as little surprise, given the Argentinian-born Italian’s turbulent season at the southern English club, for whom he has made only 12 appearances to date, scoring three goals.
Southampton recently suspended him for two weeks following a training-ground clash with team-mate Jose Fonte, while he was given a three-match ban by the Football Association for his role in a brawl at Newcastle United last month.
And, when asked if Osvaldo could play for Southampton again after the incident with Fonte, manager Mauricio Pochettino said: “Your question answers itself, if you know what I mean; meaning no. It’s clear.”
Former Barca man Henrique joins Napoli
Napoli have signed Brazilian international Henrique from Palmeiras for an undisclosed fee, the Serie A club announced.
The centre back, 27, who has played four times for Brazil, has signed a contract that will keep him at Napoli until June 2017.
He spent four seasons at Barcelona, from 2008, but did not play a game and was loaned out three times.
Algeria left back Faouzi Ghoulam has also joined Napoli from French side St Etienne and they have loaned Pablo Armero to West Ham United.
Ghoulam has signed for four and a half years. The transfer fee could be up to €5.5m, according to French media.
The France-born player, who will turn 23 on Saturday, is a St Etienne academy product. He has played 101 games in all competitions with Les Verts and has won four caps with Algeria.
The 27-year-old Armero joined Premier League strugglers West Ham until the end of the season. Armero, who has played 50 internationals for Colombia, has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Napoli this term.
Napoli are third in Serie A, six points behind second-placed AS Roma and 12 behind league leaders Juventus.
Everton get new goalkeeper
Sparta Prague say their backup goalkeeper Jindrich Stanek has agreed to move to Everton.
In a statement on Friday, Sparta said the clubs have agreed not to disclose details of the transfer.
Everton said on their website the 17-year-old Stanek signed a contract to the end of the 2015-16 season.
Serbia’s rising star Jojic joins Dortmund
Last season’s Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund on Friday signed promising Serbia attacking midfielder Milos Jojic from Partizan Belgrade until June 2018.
The 21 year old scored on his debut for Serbia in their 2-0 win over Japan last October and has scored six goals, creating a further seven, in 15 league games for Partizan this season.
“We are delighted to have signed Milos Jojic, a versatile midfield player with enormous potential, who completes our squad,” said Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc.
No details of the transfer fee were released, but German daily Bild and football magazine Kicker report Jojic cost around €2.2 million euros (Dh10.94m).
Sunderland sign Scotland’s Bridcutt
Scotland midfielder Liam Bridcutt has joined Sunderland from second-tier Brighton and Hove Albion, the English Premier League club announced on Friday.
Bridcutt, 24, has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract and joins for an undisclosed fee, which British media reports suggested was in the region of £2.5m (Dh15.1m).
Bridcutt follows Spaniard Marcos Alonso and Argentinians Oscar Ustari, Santiago Vergini and Ignacio Scocco in joining Sunderland this month.
Meanwhile defender Modibo Diakite has returned to Italy and joined Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season.
Hennessey steps up to Premier League
The Welsh international goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey joined Crystal Palace from Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
The 27 year old has played 41 times for Wales, having made his debut in 2007.
Wolves were his only previous club although he was on loan at Championship side Yeovil Town earlier this season.
Werder bring in Obraniak
Poland international midfielder Ludovic Obraniak has joined Werder Bremen from French side Bordeaux.
The 29-year-old Obraniak has signed a two-and-half year deal with the German club, Bremen said on their website. According to media reports, 11th-placed Werder paid a €2m fee.
Obraniak joined Bordeaux in 2012, six months after helping Lille to win the Ligue 1 title and the French Cup in 2011. He has played 290 league games and scored 36 goals in his career.

Safety 'top priority' for rival hyperloop company
The chief operating officer of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Andres de Leon, said his company's hyperloop technology is “ready” and safe.
He said the company prioritised safety throughout its development and, last year, Munich Re, one of the world's largest reinsurance companies, announced it was ready to insure their technology.
“Our levitation, propulsion, and vacuum technology have all been developed [...] over several decades and have been deployed and tested at full scale,” he said in a statement to The National.
“Only once the system has been certified and approved will it move people,” he said.
HyperloopTT has begun designing and engineering processes for its Abu Dhabi projects and hopes to break ground soon.
With no delivery date yet announced, Mr de Leon said timelines had to be considered carefully, as government approval, permits, and regulations could create necessary delays.
