The WWE is coming back to the UAE to hold shows in Dubai for the first time in 20 years.

The event, the WWE Live Dune Bash Tour, will take place on Thursday April 14 and Friday April 15 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.

Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose, United States champion Kallisto, The New Day, the WWE tag team champions are among the superstars listed to be on the Tour.

Other names included on the schedule are Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show and Sami Zayn.

The WWE has had a number of recent forays to the UAE with events in February 2012, October 2013 and February 2015, which were all held in Abu Dhabi.

But this is the first time they will be in the Dubai for 20 years, and Gerrit Meier, president of WWE international, said: “WWE is delighted to come to Dubai as the UAE and the wider Middle East region continue to be a significant priority for WWE.

“We are committed to providing WWE fans with the very best in family-friendly entertainment through our live events, TV programming and digital media.”

Tickets for the event go on sale on Monday February 15 at 10am.

They can be purchased online from www.platinumlist.net and from UAE Exchange branches. Regular ticket prices start at Dh350, with a limited number of tickets available at Dh250 in an early bird special promotion ending on February 29.
