The scent of a man?

  • English
  • Arabic

Now that women in the UAE have a credit card capable of bearing the owner's favourite perfume, several questions emerge. Leaving aside issues about whether this is condescending to women or a distraction from real issues like interest rates and charges, we have to ask: what would a credit card aimed at men smell like?

Given that most men in our region also favour the generous use of scent, is there a market for an aroma-bearing card aimed at the male?

One can also break down this question further: will banks be able to subject the market to different professions and hobbies? What about cards for different nationalities? Fish and chips for the Brits, maybe, or curry for Indian expatriates? Would sports fans pay extra for a card that smells like a football? These are questions we invite our readers to answer.
