Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week welcomed people from all walks of life to celebrate achievements in clean energy and to help develop and establish a solid base for sustainable energy around the world.

Social-media users sent a strong and positive message, with many agreeing that if the Earth could talk it would be proud of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. They also shared how the challenge of humankind had changed from wanting to conquer the Moon to wanting to improve the quality of life on Earth.

One speaker at the conference used social media to express his gratitude for being able to address Masdar Institute Young Future Energy Leaders. He added: “Very inspired by your commitment to solving global energy challenges.”

And one of last year’s Zayed Future Energy Prize winners posted: “Renewables are no longer a romantic story, but are now a business.”
