One person was killed and four others were injured after falling debris from Iranian air strike interceptions caused two fires at the Habshan gas plant in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
Abu Dhabi Media Office said an Egyptian national died during the evacuation of the site.Two Pakistani nationals and two Egyptian nationals sustained minor injuries, the media office said in an update shared on social media on Friday evening.
Authorities earlier said operations were suspended as they responded to fallen debris.
Significant damage has occurred at the facilities and an assessment is ongoing, the media office added
In a separate incident, authorities responded to falling debris in the Ajban area after successful interceptions. This injured 12 people, seven of whom are from Nepal and five from India. One Nepalese national was severely injured, while the other 11 suffered minor to moderate injuries.
A flurry of alerts were issued across the UAE, including four in Abu Dhabi and one in Dubai.

Since the start of the Iranian attacks, UAE air defences have engaged 475 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles and 2,085 drones.
Safety measures
In Dubai, it was announced that the emirate’s churches would be closed to the public until further notice, including over the Easter weekend.
The measures are in place from Friday, April 3, with parishioners advised not to visit the churches in the interest of safety and community wellbeing.
The Hindu temple and the Sikh Guru Nanak Darbar in Jebel Ali were also closed on Friday.
The Baps Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi has been shut since March 2.
Since the war began, attacks in the UAE have resulted in the martyrdom of two military personnel and a Moroccan civilian contracted by the Armed Forces, as well as 10 fatalities of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian and Indian nationalities. More than 200 people have been injured.
The UAE has faced daily missile and drone attacks from Iran since the war broke out. Iran has attacked the Emirates and other Gulf states in response to strikes launched by the US and Israel.
The UAE has consistently called for a halt to military escalation and has stressed the need for diplomacy to secure a solution to the hostilities.
