Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held talks on Saturday with Montenegro's Prime Minister Milojko Spajic during an official visit to the capital, Podgorica.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas of co-operation, with particular emphasis on economy, trade, investment, renewable energy and food security.
Both sides underlined the importance of these sectors as foundations for advancing shared development goals, state news agency Wam reported.
Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to building robust and long-term partnerships with Montenegro and other Balkan nations. He praised the steady progress in co-operation across diverse areas, highlighting the potential for further collaboration in innovation-driven sectors.
Earlier this year, two bilateral agreements in the economy and tourism sectors were signed during an official visit by Mr Spajic to the UAE.
