President Sheikh Mohamed attended two wedding receptions at Qasr Al Mushrif in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
One marked the wedding of Sheikh Zayed bin Saif bin Mohammed to the daughter of Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The other marked the wedding of Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Mohammed to the daughter of Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed.
Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the newlyweds and their families, state news agency Wam reported. He stressed that a successful family is the foundation of a strong and stable society. They thanked him in return.
The ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah.
