A new indoor-cycling studio has opened in Dubai offering virtual classes, a cinema-sized screen and a nightclub-worthy sound system.

Cadence Theory in DIFC is one of the first indoor-cycling studios in Dubai to offer Les Mills Virtual classes. The RPM programmes, which are projected onto a six-metre by four-metre screen, run for 30 or 45 minutes and cost Dh60. There are 15 of these classes each week.

There are also six different instructor-led classes, including Sunday night’s Hip Hop Cycle and Club Life on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as Sound Theory, Ride.Shred.Abs. and Les Mills’ Sprint and RPM workouts. Among the instructors is Manal Rostom, the first Arab hijab-wearing athlete to appear in a Nike Running advertisement.

Regular classes cost Dh120 and packages are available. The first class is free. Additionally, members of Guava Pass and Classport can attend the workouts.

The studio has 32 Technogym bikes and offers access to the MyWellness fitness-tracking app for IOS and Android phones, which shares weekly health and fitness reports with members. Those joining classes can also use Scott spin shoes free of charge.

Cadence Theory is located in unit SH-C-3, podium level, Sky Gardens, DIFC. Visit cadencetheory.com for class times and more information.
