Tickets are on sale for the Abu Dhabi edition of The Color Run, which this year has a tropical island theme.
The 5-kilometre fun run, presented by Daman’s ActiveLife, will be held at Yas Marina Circuit on March 25.
Billed as the “happiest 5K on the planet”, the run will have a new Tropicolor Zone where participants will be bathed in bright colours and sweet scents as they make their way through palm trees and arches, to the tune of island-style music.
Tickets cost Dh160, which includes participation and a race pack with a Tropicolor T-shirt, embroidered headband, temporary tattoos and flower lei. For Dh250, runners will receive the deluxe pack, which includes everything in the regular pack, plus VIP parking, a tutu, party sunglasses, socks and wristband. A children’s race pack costs Dh50, however children under the age of 4 can participate for free.
The Color Run is celebrating its fifth anniversary and is held in cities around the world, including Dubai and Doha. Next month’s run at Yas Marina circuit marks the fourth edition of the event in Abu Dhabi and the 11th in the Middle East.
