Fancy flying the world for work? Emirates is now hiring cabin crew

Candidates should be at least 160cm, fluent in English and have a "healthy" Body Mass Index

Emirates is currently hiring! The Dubai airline has posted news of a cabin crew hiring drive in the UAE, looking for jet-setting hopefuls to join its multinational team.

The airline is set to host an assessment day in Dubai, details of which are released to hopeful applicants upon registration.

There is a set criteria for applicants. According to the airline "they should be at least 21 years of age at the time of joining and have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes."

Emirates is looking to hire both men and women, and further criteria includes: a minimum height of 160cm, a Grade 12 high school qualification (or the equivalent), written and spoken fluency in English, no visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform (cosmetic and bandage coverings aren’t allowed), and physical fitness, with an undisclosed "healthy" Body Mass Index (BMI).

"You should be determined to always perform well," the recruitment site reads. "And no doubt you’ll be able to manage a pretty demanding work schedule. Also, you’ll be culturally aware and reflect who we are – professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary and cosmopolitan."
