Emirates is set to ramp up its number of weekly flights to Pakistan throughout August.

Starting from August 10, the Dubai airline will offer customers 53 weekly flights to Pakistan, with extra flights headed for Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Sialkot. The increased service includes the resumption of the route to Peshawar.

From August 16, the number of weekly services to Pakistan will increase to 60. This will be broken down to 28 flights to Karachi, 10 to Islamabad, seven to Sialkot, 10 to Lahore and five to Peshawar. All flights will be operated via a Boeing 777-300ER.

The increased service takes the number of destinations Emirates is currently flying to via Dubai to 70, with the airline slowly rebuilding its network as travel restrictions around the world ease and demand picks up.

Passengers are reminded to check requirements and restrictions before travelling and will only be accepted on flights if they comply with eligibility and entry criteria requirements.

Emirates is offering free cover for Covid-19-related costs to all travellers on any flight departing between now and October 31.

Valid for 31 days from the first sector of each journey, it covers travellers for medical costs, quarantine expenses and repatriation costs if they have the virus diagnosed when travelling.

The cover does not extend to Covid-19 tests and all travellers flying to the UAE must be tested for the virus before flying, from approved clinics where available. Some visitors will undergo secondary tests for the virus at Dubai International Airport.

More information and the full flight schedule can be found at emirates.com.
