Offbeat Safaris in Kenya has horse-riding safaris for equine thrill-seekers. History, culture and beaches in Sri Lanka

The Dubai-based Travel Counsellors has put together a seven-day Sri Lankan adventure departing on December 1. The tour starts in the capital, Colombo, and finishes in southern city of Galle, and features history, culture and beautiful beaches. Highlights are a visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the ruined city of Polonnaruwa and the Yala National Park.
