Arguably one of the standouts from E3 (probably because its stand was littered with big terrifying robots), this forthcoming first-person shooter is likely to have had anyone old enough to have enjoyed Wolfenstein 3D already salivating with anticipation. Taking an alternative historical route where Germany won the Second World War (and check out the trailer on YouTube for some amusing reimagining of certain events – The Beatles’ Abbey Road, anyone?), this dark, menacing-looking game has you back in the Nazi blood-splattered boots of William “BJ” Blazkowicz. But will you get to take on a chaingun-toting Hitler in the last level? Find out next year.
