RakBank customers receive free amusement park access

RakBank is offering a host of deals to its credit and debit cardholders.

If you're planning a weekend getaway, now might be the time to take advantage of some enticing promotions from RakBank.

Reserved exclusively for cardholders, the bank has announced two partnerships with local hotels and theme parks in the UAE.

"The bank's two running promotions this season give our customers the opportunity to discover new global attractions in different emirates, while going easy on their wallets," says Banali Malhotra, the head of marketing for RakBank.

The first promotion gives clients the chance to enjoy a one-night stay plus breakfast for two at the Yas Island Rotana in Abu Dhabi for Dh750.

Included in the deal are two free tickets to Ferrari World, the latest attraction on the island with 20 heart-pumping rides.

Meanwhile, cardholders will also receive a 20 per cent discount on food and beverages at the Yas Island Rotana and an early check-in and late check-out option.

For those seeking a cooler experience, the second promotion offers clients complimentary access to Iceland Water Park in Ras al Khaimah when they book a night's stay at Al Hamra Village Golf Resort. The package costs Dh599 on weekdays and Dh699 on weekends. The night's stay also includes breakfast for two.

Iceland Water Park is the largest of its kind in the Middle East with a range of unusual rides and attractions, including Penguin Falls and the Tundra Baths.

"RakBank customers can now visit the world's first Ferrari theme park in Abu Dhabi and Iceland Water Park in Ras al Khaimah, in addition to spending the night at a five-star luxurious hotel in each respective emirate, all at the cost of a pair of tickets to the attractions," Mr Malhotra adds.

Both deals are available until the end of February. All RakBank cards are free for life with no annual fee and come with a "Cashback" feature of up to 50 per cent on international transactions and 3 per cent on domestic purchases.

Also, with the new "Rakfeast" promotion, customers can benefit from dining and hospitality discounts at 70 different outlets across the Emirates.

Credit cards with the bank have a cash advance option of up to 50 per cent of the total limit, free purchase protection and a low minimum monthly payment amount of 3 per cent.

Finally, every six months, in January and July, RakBank announces a new MasterCard million-dirham winner. The lucky customers can be viewed in the "Gallery of Winners" at www.rankbank.ae.
