Last week, the Volkswagen Polo became the latest winner of the European Car of the Year award, judged by a panel of 59 motoring journalists from 23 countries. This prestigious prize has been awarded to some instant classics - step forward the Fiat 500 from 2008 - as well as a decent quota of stinkers too. Here we pay homage to five of the worst to claim top billing.
